Raleigh, NC– John M. Sperati has joined Smith Debnam Narron Drake Saintsing & Myers, L.L.P. Mr. Sperati is a member of the firm’s Construction and Equipment Leasing & Finance practice group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation, commercial litigation and creditor’s rights.

Mr. Sperati, a native of North Carolina, earned his J.D., cum laude, from North Carolina Central School of Law in 2003 and his B.A from Western Carolina University in 1991. While in law school, he was a member of the North Carolina Central Law Journal, a founding member of the Environmental Law Society, and was actively involved with Land Loss Prevention Project, non-profit law firm dedicated to the preservation of the family farm.

Mr. Sperati brings to Smith Debnam a wealth of experience and strong practical knowledge of the construction industry. His practice at Smith Debnam will encompass all phases of the construction industry including, lien and bond law, contract law, construction defect and delay claims, contract review and negotiation, as well as, commercial litigation and defense of creditor’s rights.
